Data Field Configuration

Data Type​

In order to set ECLASS definitions on a data object, a new data field of type "Classification Store" must be created in the class definition:

Configuration​

Identifier​

The identifier of the field must begin with the prefix eClass. It is recommended to use the following naming convention: eClass{MAJOR_VERSION}V{MINOR_VERSION}

Refer to the following example:

Label Width​

Due to the extensive length of attribute labels it is recommended to use a larger label width.

Max. Group Items​

It is recommended to limit the field to only one group since products usually only require one ECLASS definition.

Store​

The appropriate ECLASS-Store should be selected from the imported ECLASS versions:
